Everyone Welcome
Each year, The Works International Visual Arts Society presents an exhibit opportunity to
the most recent participants in the Works to Work Internship, Certification, Education, and Scholarship
Program. In 2010, this exhibit will be presented with the support of EPCOR, Education Sponsor of
Works to Work, and will coincide with the Winter Olympic Games. February 12 - March 1, the public
will be invited to view the exhibit in The Works Gallery. In March, during the Paralympic Games, The
Exhibit will be re-mounted in the EPCOR Building Entrance lobby.

Immigrant Women’s Student Award

Apr 30, 2010 - As part of our efforts to increase the education level of those women who have immigrated to Canada, the Faculty of Extension, at the University of Alberta, is offering a student award. This award will provide opportunities to four women per year to participate in programs offered by the Faculty of Extension. (The programs include: Human Resource Certificate, Management Development Certificate, Supervisory Development Citation)
Our goal is to increase learning opportunities in professional development to immigrant women so they can play a significant role in the workplace and community at large.
