Planning charrette coming up in Highlands-Bellevue Dan Burden will be returning to Edmonton in early April to lead a neighbourhood-based design charrette in the Highlands-Bellevue area. Because this has been planned as a ?working? event, it will not be open to the general public, but we will feature extensive coverage of the charrette in our next issue of Taking Steps. We will also have links to documents and recommendations produced during the working sessions.

Proposed Hi-Rise Development - 101 Street

HIP Architects have been retained as the architechs for a mixed-use development for the site at 11042 and 11046 - 101 Street, between the Hys Centre and Wendy's at 111 Avenue. The proposed development is a mix of commercial and residential uses, and will require rezoning the property from CB2 to DC2.

Dec 2, 2004 - An open house was held Dec 2nd at the Prince of Wales Armouries to present the development proposal to the Central McDougall, McCauley, Spruce Avenue, Alberta Avenue and Downtown communities.
